Stroganoff with rice or mash - day two

  •  beef stroganoff
  •  wholegrain rice
  • 300 gramscarrots*
  • 0.5 cucumber

This is the second-day version of our yummy beef stroganoff. If you have mash left over from yesterday, just warm that up. Otherwise, cook some rice instead. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Heat the leftover stroganoff in a pot or the microwave. If you have mash left over, the exact same goes - pop it in a pan or the machine that goes 'ding!'. You might want to add a bit of milk and butter, so the mash doesn't dry out. Alternatively, simply cook some rice according to the packet.

2. Serve the stroganoff with peeled carrots and rinsed cucumber, cut into sticks for snack veggies.

3. Enjoy!

Tip

You can swap carrots and cucumber for any kind of snack veggies you like. If you have small children, it's best to boil the carrots so they're not a choking hazard. Or use soft veggies, like cherry tomato, bell pepper, sweetcorn or peas.
