Steak salad with melon and mozzarella
( 2 adults and 2 kids )
- lettuce of your choice
- cooked steak
- cooked potatoes
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 0.5 melon
- 1 ballmozzarella

About the recipe
This is the perfect salad the day after a good steak. We've used the leftover meat and potatoes and made a gorgeous salad topped with mozzarella. Enjoy!
1. Rinse the lettuce. Cut steaks and potatoes from last nights dinner into bite-sized chunks and mix with rinsed, halved cherry tomatoes and melon chunks.
2. Top with mozzarella torn into smaller bits.
If the wee ones aren't fully salad-trained yet, serve all the ingredients in little bowls, so everyone in the family can assemble their favourite salad. You can make a quick dressing by mixing olive oil, acacia honey and lemon juice, and adding salt and pepper to taste.
