We've made a somewhat alternative lasagne, where we've swapped lasagne sheets for tortillas, so the lasagne doesn't need as long in the oven. We've used the leftovers from yesterday's chilli con carne in place of bolognese, so dinner is extra easy. Enjoy!
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees convection.
2. Spread chilli con carne and mornay sauce in a round casserole tin in at least four layers, with tortillas between each. Start and finish with a layer of sauce. Spread grated cheese on top and bake the lasagne for 20-25 minutes, or until golden on top.
3. Peel carrots and cut into sticks for snack veggies. Quarter the avocado and sprinkle on a bit of lemon juice, salt and pepper. Serve on the side of the yummy lasagne.
4. Enjoy!
Tip
Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help layer the filling and tortillas - it's a bit like building sand castles. They can also cut the avocado into smaller pieces.
