We've whipped up the easiest apple horns with puff pastry and cinnamon sugar, topped with chopped almonds. They're so tasty, and super quick to make. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 185 degrees fan-assisted.

2. Rinse and slice the apples into wedges. Mix sugar and cinnamon. If your puff pastry is square, cut it into a circle – like a pizza base. Slice each circle into 12 triangular slices (...like a pizza!).

3. Dust the triangles with cinnamon sugar, place an apple wedge on top and roll it up. Remember to have the pointy lip facing down, so the horns don't unfurl in the oven.

4. Chop the almonds. Brush the horns with egg wash, and sprinkle on the almonds.

5. Bake the horns for approx. 15 minutes, until gorgeously golden and fragrant.

6. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help cut the dough into triangles. They can also slice the apple wedges, mix the cinnamon sugar and assemble the horns.
