Here at Mambeno we LOVE taco shells. You can fill them with all sorts of good stuff, and here we've used the leftovers from spaghetti bolognese. Let the kids assemble their own favourite tacos, open wide and see who can eat a whole taco without it breaking! Loser does the dishes! Enjoy.

Directions

1. Reheat the leftovers from yesterdays bolognese in a pot or the microwave.

2. Grate the cheese, if you haven't gotten pre-grated at the supermarket, and cut the lettuce into strips. Rinse tomatoes and cucumber and dice both. Finely dice the onion and pop everything on the table in little bowls along with bolognese, ketchup and taco sauce. Warm the taco shells following directions on the packet, let everyone in the family assemble their own favourite taco and open as wide as you can!

3. Enjoy!

Tip

You can absolutely buy grated cheese at the supermarket, but it's much cheaper to buy a solid piece of cheese and grate it at home, cut into cheese sticks for the kids' lunch, and cut a few slices off for a nice afternoon toastie. And that keeps those nasty E-numbers off your dinnertable!
