Smoothie with pomegranate and strawberries
( 2 adults and 2 kids )
- 150 gramsfrozen pomegranate seeds
- 350 gramsfrozen strawberries
- 2 tspvanilla sugar
- 200 mlmilk
- 2 tbspacacia honey*
- 1 organic lime
About the recipe
There's nothing like a cold and delicious smoothie on a hot summer day - or just a cool morning indoors. Here we're made a slightly alternative smoothie with pomegranates, which give a tart kick to the sweetest strawberries. Enjoy!
1. Pour pomegranate seeds, strawberries, vanilla sugar, milk, honey and grated zest from the lime in a blender. Switch it on full whack and blend, until the smoothie is all smooth - it needs a bit extra because of the pomegranate seeds.
2. Season to taste with honey and vanilla and serve in proper glasses with straws.
Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help pour all the ingredients in the blender. They should of course help taste the smoothie as well!
