If your kids aren't always up for sandwiches, here's a recipe for an easy and delicious lunch: Homemade pot noodles! If they're going in packed lunches, the kids will need access to boiling water, or you can pour the boiling water over from home, and store the noodle soup in a thermos. You can use whatever veggies your kid likes, by the way! Enjoy!

Directions

1. Pop noodles, a handful of edamame beans and finely crumbled stock cube into a jar with a lid, that's safe for boiling water.

2. Rinse the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut into thin sticks. Grate ginger on the fine side of a grater and grate the carrot on the rough side. Add to the noodles and pop the lid on.

3. Once it's time to eat, pour boiling water into the jar and leave for 3-4 minutes. Remember to stir well before eating.

4. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids rinse and clean the bell pepper and cut it into sticks.

If you want to reduce additives in the household, you can opt for organic stock cubes.
