The best part of doing a massive pork roast, is that it's absolutely delicious on day one, and can be made into the yummiest pork roast burgers on day two - yay, and enjoy!

Directions

1. Heat up the roast, if you want your burgers warm - you can happily serve them cold, too. Either fry slices of the roast in some olive oil on a pan, or heat the whole thing (or slices) in the oven. Remove the crackling and serve it cold, as reheating crackling tends to make it lose its crackle..!

2. Warm the burger buns in the oven or in a toaster. Finely slice the apple. Peel the carrots and cut into sticks for snack veggies.

3. Pop lettuce, warm red cabbage, sliced pickles and mayo on the table in small bowls, and let the whole family assemble exactly the pork roast burger they like best. We highly suggest trying a bit of apple on there, too - it's delicious!

4. And open wide - enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help slice the apple. They can also peel the carrots, and warm the red cabbage in a pot.
