Pitabreads are a true family classic - and they're fantastic for kids, as they make it easy for the kids to decide the contents themselves. Here we've filled the pitas with beef and lots of veg. Open wide - and enjoy!
Directions
1. Thoroughly wash the leeks, and thinly slice them. Cook in a bit of olive oil on a pan, until lightly seared. Add the mince and continue to cook while stirring, until the beef is seared well. Grate the carrots, and add along with curry and oregano.
2. Add water and stock cube and let everything simmer for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Slice the remaining vegetables the way you like them, and pop everything on the table along with warmed pitabreads, beef curry and dressing.
4. Let the whole family assemble their very own favourite pita - enjoy!
Tip
Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help cut up the veggies and taste the beef curry.
