Pasta with beef and aubergine - day two

Ingredients

( 2 adults and 2 kids )

  •  wholegrain pasta
  •  leftover meat sauce
  • 1 canchopped tomatoes
  • 300 gramscarrots*
  • 0.5 cucumber
  • apples
  •  grated cheese
  •  salt
  •  pepper

Today you'll need the leftover meat sauce from our yummy pizza pies and simply add chopped tomatoes, cook some pasta and cut some snack veggies - that's pretty easy. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Cook the pasta according to the packet.

2. Heat up yesterday's leftover meat sauce in a pot and add chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Peel the carrots, rinse the cucumber and apples and cut everything into sticks for snack veggies.

3. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top, and dinner is served!

4. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids  help stir the pot. They can also cut cucumber and apple into sticks.

If you have smaller children, you can swap the carrots for other, softer veggies. Such as peas, tomatoes, sweetcorn and the like.
