Ice tea is super easy to make! It just takes a bit of patience, as the tea has to cool before drinking. So you'll have to resist a cuppa, but it will be worth it. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Pour boiling water into a jug or bowl that can handle high temperatures. Leave the teabags in to brew for about 5 minutes.

2. Slice the lemon, wash the mint and add both to the tea along with sugar. Stir well.

3. Refridgerate the tea and let it soak up flavour from the lemon and mint. Once the tea is cold, sift out the lemon and mint, then serve the tea in glasses with ice cubes, and optionally a few slices of fresh lemon as garnish. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help slice the lemon. They can also help taste the ice tea and 'season' it with sugar.
