The scent of grill sausages is just amazing! This is the recipe for the most gorgeous grilled or pan fried sausages served with summer slaw made from carrots and purple pointed cabbage. If you can't find purple pointed cabbage, just use regular pointed cabbage or red or white cabbage.

Directions

1. Heat up the grill - or pop a pan on the stove. Grill or cook the sausages, until they're just the way you like them.

2. Rinse the cabbage and grate the carrots on the rough side of a grater. Mix skyr, mayonnaise, acacia honey and sweet mustard and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix with the cabbage- and carrot shreds.

3. Rinse the cucumber and cut into sticks for snack veggies, and warm the hot dog buns. Serve with the tasty summer slaw and a bit of barbecue sauce or whatever you like for dipping.

4. Dinner is served! Enjoy!

Tip

In the spring and summer you can find purple pointed cabbage in lots of supermarkets, discount and higher end alike. But if you can't find it, cabbage or red cabbage will do just as well. In that case, a quarter head of cabbage is the rough equivalent of half a head of pointed cabbage. We've figured about a sausage and a half for each person. If you're extra hungry, remember to adjust your shopping list.
