These fig balls are perfect for packed lunches and hungry late afternoons. Despite the fact that they're completely sugar free, and made with sunflower seeds, coconut flour, cocoa powder and coconut oil, they still pack a nice energy punch for sleepy kids and grownups. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Cut the tops off the figs. Blend figs, sunflower seeds, coconut flour, cocoa powder and coconut oil in a food processor or mini chopper, until you have a sticky. uniform mass. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

2. Shape little balls from the fruit mix, and optionally roll them in coconut flour or cocoa powder if you want them to look extra fancy.

3. Store the balls in an airtight container in the fridge. And remember that it's best to let them cool before eating - otherwise they're a bit too soft.

4. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help cut the tops off the figs. They can also help add the ingredients to the food processor, and with shaping the balls.
