Chicken nugget burgers with snack veggies

Ingredients

  • 740 gramschicken nuggets
  • tomato
  • 0.5 cucumber
  • 300 gramscarrots*
  • burger bun
  •  lettuce of your choice
  •  pickles
  •  dressing of your choice
  •  sweet chilli sauce

Chicken nuggets in a burger is a proper hit, and a tasty alternative to the classic version! We've served the burgers with salad, sweet chilli sauce and snack veggies on the side. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees fan assisted. Place chicken nuggets on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment and cook according to the bag.

2. Rinse veggies and cut into slices and strips, the way you think they should be.

3. Heat the burger buns in the oven or on a toaster.

4. Fill the warm burger buns with nuggets, veggies and dressing and serve with snack veggies. Enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help slice tomatoes and cucumber with a childsafe knife. They can also help put everything in bowls.
