Chicken burger with guacamole


( 2 adults and 2 kids )

  • 50 gramsbacon slices
  • 500 gramschicken fillet
  • 0.25 iceberg lettuce
  • tomato
  • 300 gramscarrots*
  • 0.5 cucumber

  •  mayonnaise

At Mambeno we LOVE burgers. This is the recipe for a super tasty chicken burger with guacamole. You can buy the guacamole at the supermarket, or if you have ten minutes to spare, try our easy recipe. It's amazing! Enjoy!


1. Place the bacon in a cold pan and switch on the hob. Cook until both sides are crispy and pop them on some kitchen roll to soak up the excess fat.

2. Season the chicken fillets and cook in the bacon grease, until cooked through but not dry. Let them rest for five minutes on a cutting board before you slice them.

3. Chop the lettuce, slice the tomatoes and chop carrots and cucumber into sticks for snack veggies. Place chicken, bacon, guacamole and veg in small bowls in the middle of the table, along with mayo for the buns. Toast the buns in the oven and let everyone assemble their own favourite chicken burger. Who can open the widest??
