15 minute chicken kebab pita with hummus and veg
( 2 adults and 2 kids )
- 0.5 cucumber
- 15 cherry tomatoes
- lettuce of your choice
- 300 gramsready chicken kebab
- 8 wholewheat pitas
- 200 gramshummus
- dressing of your choice
- olive oil

About the recipe
We LOVE a super quick and easy dinner. For this one we've used ready-made chicken kebabs, which you'll find in most frozen food aisles, to make the cooking extra speedy on busy days. You can of course use other types of kebab meat if you prefer. Enjoy!
1. Rinse and cut cucumber and tomatoes. Rinse lettuce and place everything in small bowls.
2. Fry the frozen chicken kebab on a pan in some oil, until the meat is thawed and nicely seared.
3. Warm up the pitas and place all ingredients on the table in small bowls. Let the family assemble their own favourite pita, and serve with hummus and dressing.
Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help cut and prep the veggies. If you have leftovers, save them for tomorrow's packed lunches.
