Seasoned mince pot with cabbage, peas and mash - day two

  •  leftover mince pot
  • 1 canchopped tomatoes
  • 400 gramscarrots*
  •  salt
  •  pepper

Yay, today's an easy one! Just cook a bit of rice, heat up the leftover mince pot and add chopped tomatoes. Enjoy!

Directions

1. Cook the rice according to the packet.

2. Heat the leftover mince pot thoroughly in a pot, add chopped tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.

3. Peel carrots and cut into sticks for snack veggies.

4. Serve with piping hot rice and carrot sticks - and enjoy!

Tip

Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: There's not much chopping or stirring needed today, but the kids can always set a lovely table - and of course peel carrots and cut them into sticks.

Extra flavour: If you want to jazz up the flavour, add more herbs and spices. Such as oregano or thyme, and feel free to sprinkle fresh or dried chilli on top.
