A smoothie bowl is a super yummy way to start the day! Here's one with muesli and lots of berries – both blue-, straw- and raspberries. But you can of course use whatever fruits you like – or the supermarket stocks. Enjoy!
Directions
1. Add blueberries, strawberries, banana, vanilla sugar, water and syrup to a blender, or use a handblender in a jug. Blend on full whack until it's – you guessed it – smooth, and free from lumps. 'Season' with more syrup if needed.
2. Serve the smoothie in bowls or deep plates, topped with muesli – and garnished with fresh raspberries and sliced kiwi and mango. Enjoy!
Tip
Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help add the ingredients to the blender. They should of course help taste as well! Be aware that food safety authorities are currently recommending that frozen berries be boiled before use, to prevent the spread of COVID. Frozen berries should be boiled for at least one minute before being used in smoothies and desserts or as cake decorations. The berries should 'bubble' for at least one minute, so you're sure they're boiling. You can also use fresh berries and ice cubes instead.
