Here at Mambeno we LOVE Nutella – and so do our kids! Here we've whipped up some super easy and crispy Nutella croissants with chopped hazelnuts. We've used ready-made filo pastry to make things extra easy. Enjoy!
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 185 degrees fan assisted.
2. Let the filo pastry thaw. Halve each sheet on roll out into a quadrant.
3. Place a large teaspoon of Nutella in the middle and spread it out a bit. Fold each corner towards the centre, so the pastry covers the Nutella. Carefully press the dough together in the middle.
4. Chop the hazelnuts. Brush the pastry with egg wash and sprinkle hazelnuts on top.
5. Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden and beautifully fragrant. Enjoy!
Tip
Tasks for younger kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help cut the pastry, top with Nutella and brush with egg wash.
