Smoothies are great for getting a load of fruit into the kids. This version is with blueberries, raspberries and banana, which is great for the breakfast/brunch table or as an afternoon snack. Keep in mind that some frozen fruits need to be boiled before use - check the bags before you buy, or pick up some frozen fruit that's already been heat treated. Enjoy!
Directions
1. Pour blueberries, raspberries, banana, vanilla sugar and water into a blender, or use a hand blender in a pitcher. Blend on full whack, until the smoothie is totally lump free and, well... Smooth!
2. Add honey and vanilla to taste, and serve in glasses with straws - we do suggest using paper or reuseable straws, they're much better for the planet.
3. Enjoy!
Tip
Tasks for kids in the kitchen: Let your kids help pour the fruits into the blender. They of course have to help taste, too!
